factory ford engine analyzer from the 40's any info or paperwork on a ford analyzer with a dist. tester cabinet on wheels would be appreciated

has 2 and I have one in Pa. that we rebuilt 25 or more years ago. We keep a master distributor in a sealed plastic bag and every couple years put it on the machines to see that they agree. When set up on these machines it is rare to have to adjust the distributor after installing. I just put one on a 36 last week and with Skips rebuilt coil it starts as soon as you touch the starter button even after the engine got to 210 degrees. Is this the one you're talking about? I have one that I am still looking for a part for to try and get going, There is a lot of information in the Ford service bulletins of the era and there is a book with instructions as well (I have a copy).
I can help with some information, let me know what you have and what you need. The second picture is the post war version. |
