My turn signal switch is shot I called Hill's for a new one no dice. It looks like I am out of luck. Any of you know where I might find one?

Re: My turn signal switch is shot I suspect lots of items are currently back-ordered thru most of the remaining parts suppliers but, is that the only place you tried?

Re: My turn signal switch is shot If its the same as a '54 Ranch Wagon. I have an extra one that I got when I changed the manual trans column to an automatic column. Judging by the wires its original. Can't speak to its condition. Yours for the cost of a USPS small flat rate box.

Re: My turn signal switch is shot Well, I have at least 3 turn signal switches, don't remember if some are '56 or 57. I do know one is for '55 Customline/Fairlane Ford-o-Matic. But I don't know what you are working on ???

Re: My turn signal switch is shot 4 Attachment(s)
I need one for 1956 T-Bird sorry about that. Turn Signal Switch Thanks in advance.

Re: My turn signal switch is shot 2 Attachment(s)
The doors did not fit the 56 T-Bird as they should. So I decided to find out why. I got in a lot more work then I planed. I put new 1/4 panel on passenger side, new hinge pins, rockers were welded wrong, super back full of plastic {Bondo]. Benn a month so far but about ready for paint. We will see. We installed Air Conditioning.Special water pump, HD Radiator with Fans.

From what I can determine the switch I have from my '54 Ranch Wagon is part number: B5A-13341-AAnd a '56 T Bird takes switch part number: B6SZ-13341-A So it sounds like the one I have won't work for your Bird. Sorry. But if you still want it PM me again and I'll get it in the mail to you. |

Re: My turn signal switch is shot - SUPPOSEDLY - The 56 FORD AND BIRD have the same switch the only difference being the length of the harnesses. I have a 56 FORD TSS somewhere in my collection and will post photo(s) if interested. |
Re: My turn signal switch is shot I need a turn Signal Switch for a 56 T-Bird. Then I can put my Steering back together.

I found photo(s) of the FORD TSS on EvilBay. The photos are below. See if the pin-outs are the same as yours. Can you post detailed photos of yours? It may help in the future. |
Re: My turn signal switch is shot Today I was at the VA in Pittsburgh about 60 miles. Just got home but will go tomorrow and get my Turn Signal Switch and post pictures of it. Sorry about that should have done that first.

That cam is for a later model FORD (for anyone's info). Below are some more ATTACHMENTS for anyone's future reference. The 1957 FORD/BIRD wiring schematic (I don't have a 56 schematic - 1956- 1958 FORD SW is the same) shows pin-outs and wire colors to be the same. |
