Just the price of copper nowadays would make that car worth a lot of bucks. Unusual to say the least.

Copper is much easier to form into shapes than steel is. Wait till it turns green like the statue of Liberty.

Check out the rest of the Kirkham website! The Kirkham brothers from Salt Lake City bought an old Russian Mig factory in Poland and hired the fabricators to duplicate the Shelby Cobras. They corrected the side to side profiles to make the car symmetrical.

The 40 is surely different, but the workmanship is something else. A friend has one of their polished Cobras and you practically can't look at it in the sunlight. It is surprisingly easy to keep shiny, however, I'm trying to get him to scotchbrite it. It sure is a hoot to drive!

This is a Copper car in Southwoods car museum at wellington N.Z. I do not know much about the history of it, other N.Z. members might chime in and know, but I think it was built by a plumber many years ago, I know they have had it on display for several decades.

Great idea Bruce! It would surely draw a crowd!

I bet the headlights are bright!

Looking forward to the Gallipolis show and seeing that `34 Roadster!
