OK, I tried to give the boy the benifit of doubt, and had hoped to see him to have learned from the experiences with the T's and maybe stay around to gain some wisdom and grow up some.

I just recieved an email from him, stating he has since gotten himself banned from Fordbarn, and is planning to move the shenanagins over to Ahooga. :eek:

Try to help some people and they shit right on you!:mad:

The BOY was not a BOY.. I now suspect.....There were folks here that saw right though him and others that openly criticized those that thought that...Bad on BOTH Parts but we see the result and too bad.

How old is The Boy?

Did he show a sincere interest in Model A's or other old cars?

We have a couple of very dear grandchildren who have begun demonstrating early teen-age "shenenagins" (to put it mildly) after being practically angels in all their earlier years. All those years of care and love and they turn around and s___ on you. I know how you feel.

They had no interest in our A at all so we had no chance there. The magnitism and excitement of following after the twisted behavior of school peers. Nearly impossible to counter it.

The boy claims, to be 13, I thought he showed sincere interest in early Fords, Thank goodness he ain't mine.....If he truely is 13, I do feel sorry for him, as he is traveling down a very long and hard road....

the pictures i saw on the mafca? forum i think it was (someone posted the link on fordbarn not to long ago) and he was on big 13 yr old HAHAA! he must have 3 times on me and im 19. lol

he doesnt even know what he blew off here, the greatest hobby with great people! Sucks for him.

The boys name is Garrett Fuller, went by Modeltfan01 on here, and played me for a fool. Mark you may be quite right, same as the guys who go to adult chat sites and think they are chatting with a 19 year old girl and its really a 50 year old freak of a dude!!

Steve would it really surprise any of us and ModelAkid31...you may be 19 and obviously love this hobby but dont be surprised if he pulled the wool over you also...he is good at that as we can see.

I would rather try try to help 10 people and be craped on by one, then not help any. It has happened to a couple of us here on this site we we keep plugging away anyway.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but some of you must still believe that the whole story of landing a man on the moon was a conspiracy too! Sheesh, anyone who knows how to find Google could figure out that he's really a kid. Granted, he's a kid that has some serious growing up to do but a kid nonetheless. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to go to the MTFCA website and find the thread detailing where Dick Lodge was kind enough to drag his 1911 Model T quite a distance to meet with Garrett and his father to give the kid his first Model T ride.

I don't agree with his behavior and certainly think he's got some maturing to do, but for God's sake enough with the conspiracy theories! Do some research before commenting, please!

Steve, don't let it bother you, it only shows how much you enjoy the hobby and want to help anyone, even an opportunistic 13 year old a$$ who fooled a lot of helping hearts. I guess, I am just too pessimistic to let him fool me and that's not a good thing sometimes.
