clutch release bearing
 

Turn the bearing until the lubricator fitting is at the top? I see no fitting on the bearing, I see a stationery fitting near the spring but nothing to turn. Could someone explain this.

I believe that is for the milti disc clutch in 1928

mmmmm I don't believe the throwout bearing has a grease fitting. The sleeve has a fitting (by the spring)

I am putting in a new clutch today in my '29 Coupe and I have everything all apart right now. The hub is the only thing that has a grease fitting. The throwout bearing is a sealed unit without a grease fitting.

As mentioned above, maybe the multi-disk units had a grease fitting but I do not know if they did or not. Hope that helps.

The hub has two holes that allows the grease to move into the center of the bearing between the two halves. You grease the hub, grease moves around and along the input bearing retainer, and escapes through the holes to the bearing.

Yep, like the boys said, one grease fitting that sends grease to both the bearing and collar.. 'A little dab will do ya' ..
