The tires on our 1930 Model A coupe are 4.75 X 19. What is the correct air pressure I should use? Thanks

I run 45 lbs in my 21" tires. Handles better with more air. As you can tell in my avatar, not much squish...

If you have old rayon cord tires be carefull. They will blow if the pressure gets too high. I had a new old stock one that I bought on eBay blow out on the spare tire rack. Glad I wasn't standing over it when it happened

I like 35 lbs except 40lbs for the rears on my 28 station wagon and my 30 deluxe delivery because they're heavy in the rear.

35 psi always worked for me.

I always used 35 psi -However I've now gone to the Excelsior radials and would be interested in what people run in these -Karl

My 31 tudor has the same size 4.75 X 19. I run the Coker s. 35 psi works well, as recommended.

I installed my Excelsior radials about six weeks ago and have been experimenting over the weeks and now find that for my car anyway 38 pounds works really well.

My car is the slant sedan and weights 2,550 "Had it weighed" so if you car is lighter you may also need to play with the pressure to find the right one that you feel most comfortable with.

I usually run about 2-3 lbs less in the left side tires, so that the crown in the road doesnt make it pull to right as much, since there is no good way to split the caster on the beam axle. I usually run 35 in the right side like the rest of the guys do. Try it, you might like it.:)

35 Lbs. tends to wear more in the middle of the tire, I run a little less.

I got tired of the rough ride of my 21" Universals! I mounted four 225-75 -15 Goodyear Wranglers to some 15" Jeep rims that were kicking around. The rims bolted to the rear hubs fine, but required 1/4" spacers and longer lugs to mount safely on the front hubs (installed the longer lug bolts with new cast iron drums). I run 25 psi in the Wranglers! The car rides like a Cadillac now! I am exaggerating a bit, but the improvement in ride and handling is like night and day! I just picked up some 16" Ford wire wheels and am wondering if I could run pick up truck radials with tubes on those! They would look better than the jeep rims!
