Re: Dash board trim bill,i don't have any pictures, there is a difference in the design of the two.the parts needed are the trim over the speedo, the center grill and clock trim.i am trying to find out if the mounting holes on both ford and merc are the same.can they be interchanged?

Re: Dash board trim There was a guy making them from plastic but I heard that he stopped due to health problems. There is also a fellow that sells metal ones on Flea-Pay for 1942 through 48 Mercury. I don't know how well they fit though.
There is a difference between the Ford and Mercury trim and enough so that Ford stuff likely would make a Mercury dash look like a Ford if a person tried to use it. The holes are farther apart on the Mercury so a person would have to change the dash to make it an easy modification. The dash would likely fit but I've never seen anyone try it yet. |
Re: Dash board trim rotorwrench, thank you for that info.i have seen the metal one on a merc but it just does not look right.so,i don't know just yet what to do.thank you both for the info.if any new info comes up please let me know
