Axle weights on a Model A? Has anyone put their A's across a truck scale and noted the weights on the front and rear axles? No truck stops with scales near me and I don't want to go to the IDOT weigh station (They don't have set open hours and I'm not a fan of theirs anyway). Thanks, Clyde VanEvery

Re: Axle weights on a Model A? Oh Well, I thought someone might know. I'll just have to bite the bullet and go to the IDOT scales. Thanks anyhow, Clyde

Re: Axle weights on a Model A? Checked mine twice about a year apart. Did not make note of amount of gas in tank. Both times I was the only occupant. 1929 Tudor.

Re: Axle weights on a Model A? The land fill here has scales, so does the landscape material place, call around. I've never seen an IDOT open~ must be due to the lack of state funds.
