Leaf spring bolt removal

New to this forum. Finished my 29 CCPU and have now purchased a 1951
Ford F1. The truck is an old frame off restoration that has seen limited use over the pass 3 years. I have been performing routine maintenance and ran into an issue. The driver side leaf spring bolts will not except any grease. Cleaned zerk fittings and tried to grease again with no success. I tried to remove the bolts without any luck. Does anyone know an easy way to remove these bolts. I appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Bronco

They make an inexpensive tool you put grease in and hit it with a hammer for tough to grease fittings. G.M.

thers another way to free up zerks, it works best with an air grease gun, put gun on the zerk with lots of air pressue on it, pull the trigger while you smack the front of the spring where the bolt goes thru , if using a hand greas gun you will need a buddy to run the gun or smack the spring, some spring hanger bolts will get a grove in them just like door hinge pins and can be a bear to remove, if worst comes to worst remove the grease zerk and get a heavy punch with a tit on the end small enought to go in the grease zerk hole, that keeps the punch from moving all over the place, then hit the punch hard with a heavy hammer, needless to say you will need a new pin

Propane torch will help soften the grease if it is packed hard in the grooves. Then can flush it all out with new grease. Sometimes the pins can be a real bear to get out as the ends can rust in the hangers. If the pins have wear grooves they can hang up when you try to drive them out. Not sure if you are working on the front or the rear.
