Hi Vic, I hope we can make it with ya'll to the moonshine festival this year. We drove the little 60 HP flathead to the N.C. Outer Banks last week. Some 1157 miles. Monday thru Saturday. I encountered a few hill but the 60 made it over them OK. We may drive the 66 Merc if that isn't too new of a car. If so I'll fire up the 60 again. Just let us know where to find you, cause it make take me a little longer to get there!

Hi Jim, I hope you can make it as well. I'm looking forward to another fun event. Hopefully I won't encounter any starter (or other) problems this year. As we get closer to the event I'll post all the particulars relevant to what the Cigar City Flatheads group has planed for the weekend. Keep having fun with that "A" V8-60. Vic

You guys are lucky to events like Moonshine and Barn Bash you need to support them. Sure wish we had events like that on the west coast.

Bill, we started the "Barner's Bash" eight or nine years ago,:eek: it has expanded to events on the East Coast, New England, etc.:) All it takes is a little planning and promotion here on the FordBarn and the next thing you know, you've got an event... :D Ya know what they say... "If you build it, they will come"...:cool:
