I went to the Charlotte Auto Fair last week. I came home with a pile of generator cores for rebuilding. So I've been going through and sorting them out.

In response to a Want Ad I spent at least 2 hours last night taking pictures of two disassembled 32 column "drops", then move the pictures to my computer to reorient them, then move the pictures to an email, then write an email with an accurate description of each drop. Well what else am I doing from 11 PM to 1 AM?

Got the interior out and most of the floor cleaned up on the 47 Coupe. Just going to wire brush it, replace body seam caulking, and POR it.
Replacing body mounts at the same time.

Moved car back to my garage from storage. My wife will make the seat covers and the engine is getting ready to go back in.

Oh and I had to move the Dodge Power Wagon (230 Flathead) out of the garage to make room.

Drove 60 miles to looook at a Free pile of mechanical parts, then drove home. Just not worth messing with 5 pallets of mechanicals. Even a Y block 292" Trk 4 speed too. Newc

I got the '34 out of the barn yesterday after it's winter rest. It didn't want to wake up at first and was a bit cranky, LOL. A bit of gas down the carb and she perked right up! There was still a bit of residual salt on our roads here so I didn't go for a drive. I changed the oil and it rained quite a bit last night so maybe I'll put a few miles on it today.
Doug.

I was working on a local club member's generator. It had a threaded on, fan mount pulley. These are often tight and a bear to remove. Being a fan mount pulley, I was able to unscrew it using an old fan as a wrench with the armature in a padded vise and a little heat.
