- I finally retrived the 1930 Model A Pickup that my dad had restored for me back in the early 70s but was sold off in 1976 when i was 10 and he died of cancer. It was dold by my mom to my best friend's dad back then for $10K. Recently my best friend's dad gave the pickup to him since he could not longer manage it and his son in turn gave it to me saying "This car belongs with you!' Needless to say i was blown away to get my dad's car back in 2012 after so many years. Now inthe process of restoring it to better shape than he had
