Henry Ford’s Model-A By Oscar Ford

A buddy of mine sent this to me the other day… It’s a short video montage of Henry’s Model-A Ford set to a song by Bluegrass man Oscar Ford. Appropriately enough, the song was recorded in 1929 with Riley Puckett. I know, this isn’t entirely on topic, but I figured some of you model-a freaks would enjoy it.

Vintage Wreckers

The thing about early Fords is that they are just so damned utilitarian. They were built with a purpose and that functionality gives them their beauty. Make one even more specialized and they just get all the more special… As an example, enjoy this small gallery (after the break) of vintage wreckers.

365 Days Of A

Some of you fellas might have seen this already, but I hadn’t… and thought I would post. Essentially, it’s a blog from a young man that has decided to park his late model cars for 365 days to only drive his Model A sedan. Like this young guy, I drive an early Ford everyday and found it somewhat entertaining to read about his challenges and successes. I thought you might as well.
