Dan Baron’s Model-A Truck

I was cruising Dan’s photo galleries and came across the above closed cab ‘31. I fell in love instantly. It’s the usability that gets me… I can just see myself cruising this thing to work – can’t you? I’d have a small tool box in the bed along with maybe some wood and/or parts from a project I’m working on. I think some people forget how functional an old car can be and this truck is a perfect example of practicality. Drive them fellas…

The Places We Go

One of the best features of the NEW Ford Barn is the image galleries users are able to post. We are just now starting to reap the benefits of these, but one in particular really blew my skirt up. One of his galleries is dedicated just to photos of the places he’s been in the roadster.

Check it out. You’ll be glad ya did!

The River Rouge overflowed which, in turn, flooded the local power station. Henry’s power went out in his home and he and his wife went to sleep by candle light.

1929 Fordson Concept

The 1929 Fordson snow tractor concept video seen below has been around for a quite a while. Put simply, the footage is glorious… The machine seems to work as advertised – flawlessly. However, the idea never really took off (aside from a Russian military vehicle) and I always wondered why. A quick call to the Heidrick Ag History Center and all of my questions were answered.
